The VMD960-MB has a special combined motion and light analysis algorithm, which makes unnecessary the sensitive setup, providing effective detection in changing enviroment.
VMD960-MB has 8+1 setup profile. It is possilbe to use different profiles at given time range. VMD960-MB has an NO/NC input to switch profiles, for example day time profile and night time profile with photocell, etc.

Permanency detection: the video motion detector has abandoned package or stolen object detection feature. It is detecting abandoned packages (railway stations, airports). Detecting objects removed from the scene (museum, exhibitions). Another application is detecting stopped cars on highway or detecting arriving or leaving cars at a parking lot.
Detected objects are surrounded by flashing frame until acknowledge. Alarm acknowledge could be manual, remote or automatic. It is possible set minimal object size and perspective correction, too.  

One of the most important new feature is counting line-crossing objects. Field of applications is including for example counting visitors entering a shop and traffic monitoring. Measured value of the line-crossed objects in each hour is displayed on the screen and available via RS232.  

The unit analyses one camera signal for motion. Besides general applications, the units small size enables special applications.
It is especially suitable at applicantions, in case of there is no standard video signal transmitted to the headquarters, for example PSTN, ISDN, LAN, WAN, etc., the unit should control the begining of transmission. In case of microwave transmission the physical enviroment often influence the video signal, therefore it is not recommended to use video motion detector at the end of the transmission line. In both cases the unit should be fitted between the camera and the transmitter.

On-Screen Menu makes the programming procedure simple.

Alarm signal embedded into the video signal during vertical blanking. It can be used to send the alarm signal without external wire.
